BABINEAU has spent his life in the forests and on the shoreline
of the Northeast. From backpacking and winter camping in the White
Mountains and Adirondacks to sailing the coast of Maine, he has
come to a deep attunement with this land. He and his wife, Kate,
are certified New York State Guides. As a woodworker of over 30
years Don also enjoys using and teaching primitive skills and crafts
of these woodlands. His respect and reverence for the trees and
wild places continues to grow with time.
