About Us

DON BABINEAU has spent his life in the forests and on the shoreline of the Northeast. From backpacking and winter camping in the White Mountains and Adirondacks to sailing the coast of Maine, he has come to a deep attunement with this land. He and his wife, Kate, are certified New York State Guides. As a woodworker of over 30 years Don also enjoys using and teaching primitive skills and crafts of these woodlands. His respect and reverence for the trees and wild places continues to grow with time.

KATE GILDAY is a practicing herbalist, flower essence practitioner and teacher who is presently completing training as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant and working with Collaborative Healing, a group of practitioners in upstate New York who address health care through a unique integrative network educating the community and combining conventional medicine with expert complementary care. She brings her love of the wild places, song and healing to the workshops she presents throughout the Northeast.

Health Consultations - Kate is available for personal health consultations which may include herbal care, Ayurvedic lifestyle counseling or flower essence support for a more vibrant, healthier you.

Free Monthly Herb Health Clinic providing health education and recommendations for those individuals unable to otherwise afford this service. A small group of dedicated herb students and practitioners meet with individual clients.
